Three Elderly Women Move In Together So They Don’t Have To Face Self-Isolation Alone -

The friends, who have known each other for over 40 years, are sure they can get through anything if they face it together (and with a good supply of wine obviously)

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to devastate the globe, people everywhere are preparing to self-isolate in a bid to stop the spread of the deadly virus.

In Salford, Greater Manchester, three lifelong friends, Doreen Burns, Carol Spark, and Dotty Robinson are getting ready to face quarantine together. The ladies, all in their 70’s, are moving into the same home in an attempt to make sure none of them will be lonely.

The friends, who have known each other for over 40 years, are sure they can get through anything if they face it together (and with a good supply of wine obviously).

“We’ll spend a week in our own homes in self-isolation and if we were still fit and well then we would decide which house to go and live in because we’ve all got the same amount of rooms – bedrooms etc. – we’re alright,” Doreen said.

That will come in handy for the ladies who are fans of the series, ‘The Crown.’ Of course, they have also made sure they also have a good supply of wine on hand.
